Granger again - This time in my Peterson.

Round 2. Squadron Leader in a Frog-in-a-Claw meer by Baglan with another glass of the ABK6:
Enjoyed a tasty golden delicious apple, and am part way through this bowl of Wilke No. 222 in a late 40s, early 50s straight black sandblasted Wagner British Thorn 495 (Comoy’s second) pot with a black vulcanite saddle stem.
I was in George’s @gbpipes shop when he picked out the block for this pipe. He has a great selection of briar and an even better eye to make the most out of each piece of briar.

Was also going to comment on that billiard, George is a master.
Classic shape but instantly recognised as a 'Georg-e Boy' pipe.
One day, if I'm lucky, I'll get to find one of his pipes and perhaps, yes, kill the owner and make it mine.

A third of the way through this bowl of Wilke Crystal Palace in a dark brown smooth straight post-WW2 LHS Certified Purex 79 bulldog with a nickel ferrule and tenon with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.
Morning smoke of Mc Barens Golden Extra in a Stanwell Royal Prince model 61 medium billiard( this very pipe has ghosted by repeated smokies of G&H lakelands but this does not mean i couldn't enjoy plain burley blends in it)
Not far from finishing this bowl of D&R Windsail in a smooth straight dark brown family era “Canadian” by Sasieni with a black tapered vulcanite stem. Lost work time by protecting two ferals as they ate from a possum. The possum is a regular here, so he's not afraid of me, but I'm not letting him chase the cats away so he can eat their food.

Finished work, and my last smoke of the day is Wilke No. 515 in a smooth dark medium bend 2021 Peterson Heritage Brown POTY 4AB No. 45/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. This was the blend Basil Rathbone smoked. Listening to Rathbone and Bruce as Holmes and Watson on the XM.
Sequentially, smoked one of my unfinished Savinelli 506 pipes with Sutliff 507--Slices. My goodnight smoke was Quiet Nights. Way more satisfactory smoking night than yesterday.
