Completely agree. I got a Briarworks one and it's one of my favorite pipes now, both for how it smokes and looks.

Having a bowl of Granger in this el cheapo Aztec brand pipe that I bought years ago smoked once and forgot about. If it wasn't for the cheap plastic stem it would be a decent pipe.
Have no idea what wood it is though...


Granger on the other hand is quite nice, I should really get a cob or two for it, I'm getting a buttered popcorn flavour here and there.
