***What Are You Smoking, February 2022?***

This night I am smoking the most beloved of all my pipes, my direct (and without a second's hesitation) answer to the question "What if you should have only 1 pipe..?". I like everything about it: the size, the shape, the color (stem has been changed by a local carver), the way it smokes, the way it fits in my palm... But most of all I like the fact that when I smoke it, I feel like a... Country Gentleman.
In it: Amphora Special Reserve no 8.

Good day to be a plug smoker. Off to mow the lawns with some GH bright CR Plug to keep me in line. Haven’t tried this blend before, so taking a sample bowl in a small Howal billiard that escaped the eastern block.

Amphora Burley blend for the second bowl of a new Stanwell Royal Prince 141. A great honest blend. Wonderful smoker, but I wish manufacturers wouldn't pre carbonize bowl. Carbonizing pipes in one of the few things I am actually good at. I need them for the stuff I can't do well myself...

Friend Christos. I like your philosophy. I would settle for a simple Carolina Gent pipe and a few tons of Amphora Full. I am an austere person who is satisfied with little. Beautiful photo Sir............And God bless Greece.......

G H & Co. Dark Flake Aromatic in my little chewed up , workhorse MM Legend, dedicated to Lakelands. I’ve had this blend for over a year but this is my time trying it. The first few puffs have been plenty saucy for me. I’m liking so far.

Good evening. We start with another tobacco. C&D: Mississippi Mud, in a MM General. And a mug hot tea ginger&orange. I have to say that I had a satisfying smoke, with my new Peterson. Somewhat more difficult to dry the moisture with the brush. And I think being new, it still has that bitter woody aftertaste. But I think that when I have a thin layer of cake, I guess it will give me a better aroma and better sensations. A decent pipe, for a novice like me. Tomorrow the temperatures rise in the south. An almost summery week is coming. With temperatures above 69.8 °F. I wish you a good rest and God bless you all.

Got another 2 bowls of Cornell & Diehl to smoke; I'll be smoking it in my Markus Fohr clay pipes with vulcanite stems. Getting far too windy ?️ to smoke a clay!
Volunteer day still on for tomorrow; I'll have a lot of clearing up to do!
