Just started smoking this bowl of old dark fired.
How long have you smoked that pipe for it to color so beautifully?

Good afternoon. After a quiet and relaxed lunch. We started smoking with. mb: Virginia Flake, in a pipe Peterson. Let's see how this heather pipe, so elegant and mythical, behaves. Winter finally got the best of me and I’m only smoking a half a bowl every other day or so. I’m still nursing this tin of Dark Twist, after what seems like a couple months now. Smoking it in an IMP.

Is it better in a clay than a meer?
They seem popular on the forum but I've only seen one person actually smoking one, at last year's Pirate Mutiny.
The only fellow clay pipe smokers I've ever met have been re-enactors and that's how I got into them.
The Old Dark Fired has been a bit of a damp squib straight from the packet and it didn't seem to last me very long.
I wasn't puffing like a steam train either; maybe I just need to dry my baccy out a bit more...
Never slept much, but I'm up and at half way at'm with a bowl of year 2014 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Ice water and bergs is my drink.
Having some sutliff Virginia slices aged 10+ Years in a Castello old antiquari kk bent pot (although I think it’s more of a billiard). Happy smokes all!

Had only a few smokes in it Sir this is how I bought it
Started the day with Mac Baren Virginia No. 1 in a Savinelli Tortuga Smooth 804 KS with a cup of hot tea. I believe this pipe just volunteered to become Virginia-dedicated.
Derby Club in the Briarcraft Airo panel. Great little pipe.
