@JimInks I've got some Yorktown to smoke in my clay pipes but I'm saving it for the Redcoats and Revolutionaries event at Cromford Mill in May.

I like this pipe. Nice clean lines, simple but elegant. How is the stem set into the stummel or bowl? Is it a good smoker?

Had an early, (for me) wonderful dinner tonight. M'lady made me five egg, ham and cheese biscuits and hash browns followed by a scoop of chocolate ice cream topped with sliced almonds for dessert. I'm half way through this bowl of year 2012 Rolando’s Own in a smooth straight early ‘60s Lane era “William Conrad” Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.
