Dunhill Flake (vintage 2015) in a Charatan #4211 Belvedere I bought in 1972. I had to hand cut and lathe a new bit, in black lucite, for it several years ago. Unusual in it came with a taper oval and isn't stamped 'DC', although Lane era.20210204_074827_compress17.jpg

I filled up my Ornsby pipe for the 1792 Flake. This blend could have been made especially for me, I’m loving it. Strong, rich, smooth, everything I’ve been looking for. I’m happy too that I’ve discovered what Tonquin bean tastes like, my supplier said it was vanilla-y but I can’t actually put my finger on what I’m getting, (Tonquin I guess) couple more bowls of the sample left but I’m ordering more tomorrow I think.
@Birddog66 I'd like to try 1792 Flake in a clay!

Three Friars as first break-in bowl for my new Blakemar Briars smooth antique finish Litchbruyere bullcap. Mike Billington is a master. Smokes beautifully and looks like an art piece. Only took three weeks to get here. You members need to check him out!
