I was about to pack some more Ennerdale but you’ve just changed my mind. 1792 in a clay it is!@Birddog66 I'd like to try 1792 Flake in a clay!
When you look at old (40’s/50’s) Kaywoodie ads they talk of Pipe sets available from $30-$1,200, ( or thereabouts) and I always wondered what sort of pipes were in those $1000 sets. I think you just answered that, the grain is amazing, an all round beauty. It’s from the 1950’s and it is a Meerschaum Bowl.
Whoa there, lime infused pipe? Is that really a thing? Well it’s a new one on me, do you actually get the lime coming through? Being a Limey I’m naturally interested. ?Coniston Cut Plug in my new Savinelli Lime 673. This is going to be one of my dedicated Lakeland pipes. This tobacco actually pairs pretty well with the lime essence infused in the bowl and stem. Go figure!
Believe it or not it is. Savinelli has this line of pipes that celebrates different foods and infuses the flavor in the wood and stem. I'm sure it won't last much past the break in period but until then it's pretty tasty!Whoa there, lime infused pipe? Is that really a thing?
