A quarter of the way through this bowl of year 2010 Amphora Original (Brown) in a full bend barley sandblast Peterson 125th Anniversary 1898-2023 No. 172/330 302 brandy military mount with a silver band and a black vulcanite p-lip saddle stem. Watching an episode of The Lone Ranger. One of the cowboys was played by Russell Johnson, the professor from Gilligan's Island.

The Brisket is done and resting. Having a grand get together this evening for a joint Hanukkah dinner and to commemorate completing another trip around the sun today.

Just finishing up the last of this bowl of November 2020, MB London blend in a Bertram 30, pot. Love this pipe.

Since SP had 15% of pipes today, I decided I would buy myself a birthday pipe!
A new Peterson, Newgrange 406 😏. Been wanting one of these for awhile. And it came with free tin of baccy.

Nobody does that around here any more. Better than insecticide sprays, though. Do you find it improves the crop?
I don't usually. Trying to help the trees because they were stressed last season and my crop was bad. Lime wash helps with freeze and thaw, and the coating suppresses fungal disease. It's not a cure all. Need to prune, rake up all leaves, rotten apples, and apply fungicides in the early spring. And more...
