A rainy afternoon in Seattle? In December?? Now I've seen everything... 😏
No chit, right? I only whine because i'm longing to go back to Florida! Waiting on the electrical install and was hoping to be back by now. But alas, alas...

Perhaps a pipe can teach me patience. :P

The Brisket is done and resting. Having a grand get together this evening for a joint Hanukkah dinner and to commemorate completing another trip around the sun today.

Just finishing up the last of this bowl of November 2020, MB London blend in a Bertram 30, pot. Love this pipe.

Since SP had 15% of pipes today, I decided I would buy myself a birthday pipe!
A new Peterson, Newgrange 406 😏. Been wanting one of these for awhile. And it came with free tin of baccy.

After a fantastic meal, enjoying WCC Bipolar Christmas blend in a Savinelli Oscar #122, pot. A nice pour of 100 proof Knob Creek Bourbon 😏
I really like this baccy. Not your normal Christmas blend. It’s an Aro with some “legs”. WCC says it’s a Nicotine heavy semi-aromatic”. The toppings are not overdone and compliment the quality leaf in this blend. First blend I’ve smoked with Rustica. Thanks @PrivatePiping for sharing some of this with me. I ordered 3 ounces.

Mac Baren HH Latakia Flake earlier this afternoon on a family walk, in a MM Dagner Poker. I gotta get a pound of this stuff, lest I punch myself repeatedly in the future upon discovering that STG 86'ed it (knowing my luck, they will). 9/10

Bird report: White-crowned sparrow, California towhee, Dark-eyed junco, Chipping sparrow, House finch, Oak titmouse, American crow, California scrub-jay, Steller's jay, California quail, Northern flicker, Mountain chickadee, and Spotted towhee.

A very rare treat for me tonight! This evening I'm trying Condor for the first time, in the form a freshly opened Condor Plug from 2012 when it was still being produced in Ireland.

I'm smoking it in a Dr. Grabow Lark and my first impressions are that it tastes very much like a dark fired version of Orlik Golden Sliced with just a touch of licorice added, and it may be one of the most delightfully tasty blends I've ever smoked! The Vitamin N content is certainly pretty high up there too! 😅

Enjoyed a tasty golden delicious apple, and am not far from finishing this bowl of Wilke No. 515 Double Shot in a smooth dark medium bend 2021 Peterson Heritage Brown POTY 4AB No. 45/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. This is No. 515 with twice the rum of the Basil Rathbone blend. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Fed all the ferals. The rain finally stopped for now, so Abner the Eager and Harry the Hairy wanted out. Tomato the Brave is snoozin' on my feet. Daisy the Feral Princess is snoozin' on her blanket. Sleepy Suzy is by my side. Molly Danger is in the bedroom.
