HU Janneman Flake in a Stanwell saddle bit billiard from their Rondo series.

I am new to HU tobaccos, since they started shipping to the US. This is red and brown VAs with a bit of perique. Medium in taste and very much my style. A beautifully constructed long flake.

Going to have Gawith, Hogarth & Co. Whisky Twist in a small Forestier Bourgeois & Cie (F.B.C.) Freehand(?) with Natural Horn Stem—I’m not sure what this shape is—it’s sort of like an Aladdin on a ski? This company is probably better known for their watches now under the name Forestier & Cie, and of course, their leather clad Longchamp pipes (which I also collect and smoke).

I really like the look of that Stanwell.

Enjoyed a short, but necessary snooze, and am just finishing this bowl of year 2020 Peter Heinrichs Golden Sliced in a 1970s full bend straight grain rough top Savinelli Autograph 6 sitter with a cumberland stem. Haven't smoked this pipe in a long time. Gotta take a better photo of it.

Now smoking year 2016 Peter Heinrichs Special Curly in the first pipe Trever Talbot made when he went to France many years ago. It's a smooth straight Algerian briar Lumberman with a long shank and a black vulcanite saddle stem, unbranded. This will get me to a late dinner. I need to get Trever to brand this for me some day.
