Ahhh. At last. I very slowly and cautiously smoked a bowl of Early Morning Pipe in my Brigham rusticated. No coughing! Yes! That tasted really good! I'm baaack!

I've almost bought it several times, thank god someone else bought it so I can stop. The one thing that kept me from pulling the trigger was that random looking mammoth button to fill in a hole on the bamboo. Didn't seem to go with the pipe. It is quite beautiful otherwise.

Yesterday I smoked some ST James Plug and followed it up with some Telegraph Hill. I came away thinking that Telegraph Hill is a better VaPer than St James (shock/horror), more flavour, deeper fruit plum/fig notes, sweeter too and TH seemed to be more balanced. I'm about to repeat the process but reverse order, so about to smoke TH followed by St James both of which will be smoked in the Virgin Castello #33

I disagree with you on Sutliff. Sutliff does make plenty of good blends, especially in the last few years as they've stepped up their game plan. I think every company has a range of good to bad. I wouldn't label any company as a producer of nothing but bad blends.
So, are you still alive? Does it taste like mummy dust or was it heavenly? Enquiring minds want to know…?

Did a second set of walking reps, and smoked a bowl of year 2015 D&R A.B. Rimboche in an undated slight bend, smooth flame grain Wessex Standard egg with a brown accent on the black vulcanite saddle stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Haven't had Dark Plug in quite a while. I hope G&H didn't ruin it as they have weakened so many blends since the merger.

@jpberg isn’t more grumpy than usual so I guess the plug is still fine
I have some coming and I'm hoping the same Jim, so much tobacco is in a state of flux at the moment. Some for the better and others losing their mantle.
I'd certainly like to read your thoughts on it when you smoke it. I'm sure I'm not the only one.
