@HRPufnstuf Well done for making your new clay last the full film; the longest I've got is 54min with a clay pipe of St Bruno Ready Rubbed. Now I'm saving for sword fighting lessons I'm cutting down on beer & only buying pipeweed for clay pipe era re-enactment events (Sealed Knot, Pirate Mutiny, Redcoats & Revolutionaries) and the Vikings where jason the blacksmith lights my pipe with an ember from his forge! Do you think 20g of pipeweed will be enough for a 1 day event when I go to see the Sealed Knot?
The bowl is fully 1/3 larger than other clays I have owned, it stands to reason it would smoke quite a bit longer. Eccentic is also quite heavy, not a puffer's choice by any means. It's just a nice sit-down pipe.
