There’s no way I can stay away from the WAYS thread any longer. Haven’t been smoking due do a little dinky head cold but I’m getting in a couple great chews. My heart goes out to all those who have a tough time with the holidays.

Had a light snack, and smoked a bowl of D&R Raccoon’s Friend in a pre-1980s straight dark brown Comoy's Sandblast 186 billiard with a tapered black vulcanite stem.
Now smoking Wilke Surbrug’s Golden Sceptre in a late 40s, early 50s straight black sandblasted Wagner British Thorn 495 (Comoy’s second) pot with a black vulcanite saddle stem.
About a third of a bowl left of Wilke No. 24 in a smooth straight brown 1949 Yello-Bole Century Model Lovat with a nickel band accent on the black vulcanite saddle stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.
Now smoking D&R Penhooker Silver in a straight smooth brown undated pre-Republic Peterson Shamrock 263 Canadian with a nickel band and a tapered black p-lip stem. Working and listening to Calling All Cars from my own radio collection.
Yes I've had those that I've had to smoke through before most notably in the Rossi Vittorias'. This though, was unbearable. The taste lingered in the mouth as well. Hopefully, I've removed enough to continue the break-in process unimpeded.
Early wake this morn. Smoking some GLP Cairo with my coffee while listening to some Emmy Lou Harris, her best album in my opinion. Hope yall have a good one. 
A quarter of the way through this bowl of year 2012 Carter Hall in a black rusticated medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY 4AB No. 437/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. This will do it for me today.
