Close to finishing this bowl from a freshly opened first production tin (2013) of Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style.

We started smoking with. Second test of Mellow Choice of MB. In a MM General. Burns very well and does not need to light a fire all the time. But it covers totally the real aroma of tobacco. And this puzzles me. Too aromatic for my taste. Although I'm sure Mac Baren makes his blends with a lot of love. I will still smoke the whole bag with gratitude, of course. Still a decent tobacco, which many smokers love.
Did a set of walking reps, and smoked a bowl of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in an undated straight brush etched black Molina apple with a nickel band and a black tapered vulcanite stem. Now, it's lunch time.
The wind isn't too bad here yet, so out for a small bowl of Burley Morning Pipe in MM Pony Express.

70f degree temperature has me out on the porch, smoking Ennerdale in my apple diplomat cob. Forecasted low for tonight is 64f degrees. Love it!

Only two bowels today. The first was Sherman’s blend from the Old Virginia Tobacco Company. It is a nice light aromatic with notes of whiskey and chocolate. The other pipe was Prince Albert. Both in a no name Italian hardwood.
After shoveling snow and feeding the critters ( 2 hours worth) I just enjoyed a wonderful lunch- farm raised beef hamburger with roasted root vegetables.
Sitting down by the wood-stove to finish this amazing Belgian Saison Ale and smoke a 50/50 mix of C&D Peaches and Cream and Boswell’s Christmas Cookie. Both 12 years old. They sat neglected in the cellar until I decided to mix them to either smoke or get rid of if not palatable. The mixture ended up being surprisingly wonderful. I’m smoking a Bertram 30 pot.
