Good morning. Joseph and I are sharing a bowl of Voodoo Queen and listening to Christmas music on the radio.

That VooDoo Queen is good stuff. Do you pick up small hints of fruit from the latakia, like in Bothy Flake? I didn't notice this till half way through my open stash of this.

It is good but ? don’t tell anyone. I can see what you’re saying about the Latakia. This one of the few lat blends I smoke, if you can really call it a lat blend. It’s the perique that that makes this blend especially good to me. It’s like a jazzed up Bob’s Chocolate Flake.

Never had Bob’s Chocolate Flake. The word chocolate keeps me one thousand miles away from that one. But, of you like VDQ, try Bothy Flake, it’s very similar also.

The chocolate is fairly mild, and I wouldn't say it was the leading flavor if that matters to you.
Thank you Jim, I may at some time sample this one and find my hesitance to have been unfounded. But, while others are fighting for it and swiping shelves clean in a single bound, I'll wait.
Do you notice a Bothy Flake, VooDoo Queen similarity? I was sort of shocked, because I had thought that Bothy was rather unique, and I have had VooDoo Queen years ago, but I didn't recall this fruitiness.

Bothy is rather unique, and deeply rich in flavor as you know. I haven't smoked VooDoo Queen in a few years, but I remember it as being a little more than moderately sweet. With no Lakeland in it, I just can't make the connection you do, though both blends have a deep fruitiness.

I think the fruity Jamaican rum in VQ is what you're really sparking to. Maybe the current batch has more than usual?
