Talk about thin walls!

I've been working on this Nate King meerschaum prince since June/July and finally waxed it for the first time last week. It's really picking up some colors. Keepin' it smokey tonight with some Esoterica St. Ives:

L.O. DE LUXE (Louis ORLIK, London - briar pipe maker) MADE IN ENGLAND on the shank
LO stamped on the band with marks for London 1921
Label inside the case reads L.O. DE LUXE

As for the stem: I've compared it to a Falcon style pipe from the 1920s with a Redmanol body and my feeling is that the Orlik is amber not Redmanol.

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, filet mignon, mushrooms and green beans dinner with strawberries and pineapple for dessert. Now smoking a freshly opened tin of year 2013 Capstan Blue in a 2015 Ryan Alden quarter bend black sandblasted Queen of Hearts freehand with a black acrylic saddle stem. I was going to smoke a heavier blend in this great new-to-me pipe, but I changed my mind. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink.
