Bertram didn’t date their pipes but it’s most likely from the 1950’s.

Irish Rope in an 1898 Peterson Patent Bulldog with Bone Tenon and PLip. This is going to kick my ass, so this’ll be a long slow smoke.

Now smoking D&R Penhooker Silver in a 2017 smooth, straight medium brown made in France Comoy’s Riband 298 Canadian with a black vulcanite tapered stem. Hoping I finally got the ghost out after a ton of cleaning.

My third bowl of Sutliff match Victorian. I like the leaf in this blend, but I'm slightly put off by the casing. Is it licorice, or something else? Smoked in a Falcon. Tennessee whisky is my drink. BTW, this Tobacco just doesn't taste as "clean" as my C&D tobaccos.
