I’ve been on the road and smoking this straight ball MBSD meerschaum with acrylic saddle stem and 9mm filter all day. Haunted Bookshop, 2021 Cringle Flake and coming to the end of my first bowl of Engine #382. I haven’t had Deer Tongue before and it’s alright.
I agree. His prices are really good for meerschaum nowadays and his work seems great. I wonder how his tenon will be because the photos of mine look smaller and shorter than other push/pull tenons I have seen.
I live in Canada so I don’t expect any packages from abroad with speed. One time I ordered a pipe from Belgrade and it sat in customs near Vancouver for more than 2 months after being cleared. It took a little over three months to get to me and when I told the seller he said he had no idea it hadn’t arrived.

Exclusive in a bones stubby brandy, I’ve been going thru a non aro phase lately. Strong baccy with strong coffee was a morning thing. Now it’s becoming an all day thing. Even during social gatherings , which I used to smoke aros exclusively no pun intended ..I was surprised that most still enjoyed the strong room-notes. Win win situation

Did some low calorie snacking, and then smoked a bowl of year 2012 Mac Baren Virginia Flake in a straight smooth dark brown 1920s-30s Comoy’s Tradition 332 billiard with a tapered black vulcanite stem.
Enjoyed a tasty golden delicious apple, and have a quarter of a bowl left of year 2014 Sam Gawith Best Brown Flake in a straight smooth brown 1933-1945 Comoy’s patent Grand Slam 159 *4 apple with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Just fed Daisy the Feral Princess, and Harry the Hairy. Tomato the Brave and Abner the Eager weren't here, but I'll check again before bed time. My cats ate before the others did.
A third of the way through this bowl of year 2016 Sutliff 507-C Slices in a straight dark brown 1920s Comoy’s Sunrise Natural S369 squat bulldog with a tapered black vulcanite stem. This will end my smoking day. Almost finished reading baseball box scores.

Absolutely gorgeous pipe.
Brookfield No. 1 in my Altinay. Trying out some cheap tobaccos, this one isn't bad. The pipe is starting to get some character. I have smoked around 50 bowls in it now.

Low Country Edisto in an Old Dominion Shenandoah cob this morning while limbing some fallen trees with my trusty Gransfors Bruks Scandanavian forest axe. A cob seemed most appropriate for this activity. Alas, I must now leave the real world and crack open the laptop for work.
