Last night's smoke session started with my house "Consolidation Blend" (various scraps) in a Heibe billiard with horn stem and brass ferrule, followed by a bowl of Sutliff Match 20 in the basket bent apple army mount, and wrapped up with some GH Brown Twist in the brown Falcon affixed with a block meerschaum bowl. Midway through the bowl of Brown Twist, I sprinkled some Captain Earle's Ten Russians on top as a parfait, and it was excellent, though I will confess that I took a bit longer to drift off to sleep last night with all that deliciousness pumping through my veins.

Back home as of last night and back to the briars. A welcome change up after spending the last 2 weeks running around Florida with only a handful of meers and tobaccos to choose from.

Maiden voyage in a new Moretti morta nose warmer this morning. Sent an offer on ebay for this, not expecting to win it, but i did and it showed up while i was in Florida. Was looking forward to giving this a go when i got home. Aus Dem Krater plug is the inaugural bowl.

First smoke in an new Altinay rusticated Dublin w/silver band - just arrived today.
Ordered it yesterday and arrived today (from Tyrkey to Denmark in only 28 hours)!
Loaded it with Capstan Blue Flake - and it smokes like a dream

Starting off my smoking day with a bowl of pre-2014 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Watching the Yankees-Guardians game. Ice water and bergs is my drink.
