Passing the quarter mark of this bowl of 2019 C&D Yorktown in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Terracotta 4AB No.108/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Getting ready to clean a few pipes.

A Wessex Canadian filled with a long forgotten tin of 1792 with 11/05/2005 written on the bottom. As expected, it’s dried out and crispy. Much of the original flavor and aroma is long gone but it’s retained the 1792 oomph after all these years.

I recently picked up my pipes after a long break and am looking forward to picking up some new tins—even though many of my old favorites are now extinct.

First time ever (as far as I know) trying Syrian... opening this tin of 2017 Mac Baren HH Vintage Syrian, and first go will be in my vintage Royal Ascot Supreme Algerian Briar Bulldog. ... Oh my. Perfect moisture straight out the tin and very nice indeed!
