Just returned from the annual company fishing trip for employees. Great fun was had catching halibut, salmon, yelloweye rockfish, ling cod, and more. No monsters but all good eaters!

Blends enjoyed included McClelland Beacon Extra in a Savinelli Punto Oro Smooth 320KS, Esoterica Margate in a 1966 Sandblasted Pipe Dan Shape Reformed Chimney, Peretti Cuban Mixture in a Nording Compass, and 2016 McClelland Oriental No. 1 in a Savinelli Impero Smooth 111KS. A great day!

Father Dempsey in a Ropp Vintage Sandblasted billiard with a horn mouthpiece. This was the first non cob pipe I ever owned, and I'm starting to think about maybe adding some other Ropp pipes with the same chamber size to my collection. I like a big bent pot, but these smaller billiards do the trick nicely, too.

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, filet mignon with mushrooms, and sugar snap green peas dinner with peaches and strawberries, plus a scoop of French vanilla ice cream for dessert. Now smoking year 2009 Esoterica St. Ives in a 2003 medium bent Ural meer with a lined and etched egg shaped bowl with a silver band and a pearl brown acrylic saddle stem. Time to clean a few pipes.
