CAO Meer from the 80s purchased at John Dengler at a Meerschaum showing. Smoking Tuarekh by HU and gifted to me by Mark - @LotusEater . This bend is a keeper and I highly recommend it. Honestly, it is as good as a tobacco gets and can hold its own with any of the Unicorn blends. Any one else try it.

About halfway through my first ever bowl of HU Dockworker. Not sure where my final opinion is going to land on this one, but it is certainly interesting! In a Dunhill estate billiard.

On the menu for my commute to work this morning was a fine bowl of C&D Haunted Bookshop loaded in my Short Pete Bulldog with a delightfully black coffee on the side.

Had some Mixture 79 this morning. I remember thinking this was disgusting as the first aro I had. It was a pouch and I didn't know to dry anything out back them. Today it was bulk and I dried it out. Not too bad.
I also grabbed a little C&D Captain Bob to try.

Super Value Amaretto in a Weber Blackthorne saddle stem Pot.

This looks sandblasted to me, and stained and painted somehow.

Weber made some really nice factory pipes.

Near the half way mark of this bowl of year 2024 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. M'lady fed all the cats except for the absent Abner the Eager. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Ya know, that is truly the ugliest pipe I've ever fallen in love with. I've been toying with buying a nosewarmer for my next pipe . . . . if I do, you know what I'm going to try to get, eh? Finally got used to that tiny, miniature cob without scorching it or my fingers, so I figure I'm about ready. Where on earth did you get that pipe? Enquiring minds want to know. The closest musical analogy I can think of is Arcana, by the avante garde composer Varese. It's one of my favorite pieces by the way. Enjoy! as I've enjoyed looking at that pipe!

This is the classic recording, without score, that we all grew up with in the 60's, just for comparison, and I believe it was the first one . . . . . no orchestra had ever attempted a recording of it before because of it's difficulty until the best orchestra in the world, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, pulled off the feat with incredible French conductor Jean Martinon. Now, it's a staple!
