Spring cleaning and I found about a dozen Ken Byron blends I forgot about. Sampling a bowl of KBV Burley Morning right now in this Doctor's bamboozled brandy:

Very interesting burley, cavendish - it's definitely a coffee smell on the nose, but it tastes a lot like McClelland's Holiday Spirit aromatics - nutty, carmel, chocolately, with the strength in flavor of quality toasted burleys.

So it appears I’m the latest recipient of @ashdigger surprise pipe bomb packages. Bro, you either have the biggest heart or are compensating for the smallest weiner, either way I am flawed by your generosity. Knowing i was sick and broke last month when a 1919 cased pair of my favourite marquee came up on the bay he nabbed them and then sent my way for cleaning and abusing.

Smoking Kendal black pigtail in the straight Orlik this morning, and will be doing the same in the bent after lunch.

About a quarter of a bowl left of 2021 HU Directors Cut in a straight brown, probably 1950s-pre-1962 Dunhill Shell Briar 3S F/T lovat with a Dunhill factory repair shank and a tapered black vulcanite fishtail stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

A quarter of the way through this bowl of year 2014 Dan Tobacco Hamborger Veermaster in a smooth dark brown medium bend year 1924 Dunhill 136A double patent bent egg with a tapered black vulcanite stem. First time smoking this pipe.
