A quarter of the way through this bowl of Beta Test #1 in a brown straight smooth Paul Perri billiard with a black acrylic tapered stem. This pipe was a gift from a good friend who said Paul Perri pipes were exceptional smoking instruments. He was right! Don't know if Perri is making pipes any more. He's in his late 90s. He was in his early 90s when he made this one.

Did some snacking, and am now smoking Beta Test #2 in a 2003 smooth three quarter bend Rinaldo Fiammata Odissea Titania 02 Silver Line 3 Straight Grain egg with a black acrylic tapered stem. It's the top pipe.
Enjoyed a tasty golden delicious apple, and my last smoke of the day is Wilke beta test D in a full bend black pebble finish 2001 Rinaldo Lithos YY8 Titania Silver Line egg with a black acrylic tapered stem.

Good morning everyone, I just got a sample of SG Bothy Flake and have tried it in a 60’s meer lined Lacroix two star. I can’t form a true opinion from smoking in the morning before my palate has woken up but I am pleased so far. It needed some dry time and had to be relit a lot more than I’m used to but this is the first Flake where I can actually taste the Scotch, something peaty I think like Lagavulin. There’s lat in there but it’s very subtle and very well proportioned imo. I’m drying some now and looking forward to trying it this evening when I can get more nuance from it.

Awake and smoking circa year 2000 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 1982 black sandblasted paneled slight bend Savinelli Hand Made flat bottom sitter with a square shank and a black vulcanite saddle stem. Needed a little more EGR than usual, which is what this pipe is for.
This morning it’s 2009 Gawith Hoggarth Best Brown #2 in a Savinelli St. Nicholas.
Started the morning with a bowl of Orcilla mixture in a MM Apple Cob with coffee.Now smoking a bowl of HU Dockworker in a Rattray Rhodesian? Drinking English breakfast Tea.
