Ennerdale in a Carrington Gough 1909 billiard. Love this blend in this pipe. Rather windy though.
Early afternoon pipe of Wilke Chocolate in an effort to tame an undersmoked large Upshall P Dublin with thick walls and slim shank with tapered stem. This blend is becoming a "go to" for mixing, particularly with dark Lakeland flakes.

PS Luxury Bullseye Flake (coin actually), again, in a Ser Jacopo blast serpentine square shank/stem, bought new in 2013 on sale at SP for a never to be repeated price. I rubbed out a few bowls of this blend. I think the Virginia has improved with time, and mellowed. I note it is currently out of stock at SP.

Now smoking D&R Ryback in a smooth straight late 1970s Charatan Special 4148DC Reg. No. 203573 pot with a black double comfort vulcanite stem. Time for more walks on this amazingly beautiful day.
I had some Maple St in a Wilmer straight billiard on my walk earlier, now, after a large dinner I’m having Solani Yellow Lable in the Jima pipe, this pipe is great for VaPers. I only got it because it was cheap and in good condition and I was curious too, I’m glad I did, definitely getting another if I can find one as good as this.

Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and am just passing the half way mark on this bowl of Wilke No. 111 in a smooth medium bend 1950s Peterson Shamrock Killarney 9BC with a sterling silver band and a black vulcanite p-lip stem.
Cut Virginia Plug in a cob, drinking black coffee.
