Cracked open a year old HH Rustica tin 655 of 7100, aired it out a bit, then packed into my large Savinelli Autograph Dublin with nicely carved underside. Drinking black coffee on a rainy Arkansas day.
On an off diet day, my lunch was half a chicken with sweet corn on the side with a quarter of a strawberry swirl cheesecake, and some strawberries, followed by a couple of Pepperidge Farms oatmeal raisin cookies. I'm a third of the way through this bowl of KBV Merchant Service Kellem’s Mixture in a 1987 medium brown Peterson first series Sherlock Holmes full bend with a silver band and a black vulcanite tapered p-lip stem. The pipe was gift from my then-girl friend who jokingly said I should wear a deerstalker when I smoke this pipe. She certainly was surprised when I went to my closet, and pulled one out. After about fifteen minutes, she said, "Okay. That's enough. Take the hat off!" I turned it sideways, and finished the smoke.
Rattray’s Bagpiper’s Dream in a P.Jeppeson. Been sitting with the chiminea on, dinner al fresco (which for Scotland in April is a miracle!) and some gorgeous Chardonnay from the finger lakes. Heaven.
Earlier - G&H Kendal Gold Vanilla Shag courtesy of @BROBS in a Falcon with Hunter Billiard bowl. Now C&D Dreams of Kadath in a Falcon with Eagle Meer bowl. Enjoying getting to know my Falcon very much.
Now smoking Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth straight late ‘50s, early 1960s Lane era Charatan Selected 43 Dublin with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. This pipe was formerly owned by actor William Conrad.
