Time for a short smoke - Wilke #111 in a ore-Republic Pete DeLuxe 601 pot that was my grandfathers. Don’t smoke this pipe often because of its small size but am trying to work in some shorter smokes and this fits the bill well. Rainy and frigid out. Had snow this morning! but it left quickly.

IRC Canadian Plug in my Cellus Root, Denmark, vintage 1970. I don't think IRC sells Canadian Plug any longer. The Burley, Cigar leaf, Black Cavendish and Latakia are perfectly balanced. Its been in my stash for years and sorry now its gone. Three fingers of Jack for Friday.
Now smoking year 2015 D&R A.P. Rimboche in a smooth dark brown, medium bend late 1950s Parker Super Bruyere 45 with a “4” in a circle billiard with a black vulcanite tapered stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.
That may have been the shortest smoke of my life - 20 min! But it was good. I’ll need to keep that in mind for times when I don’t have real leisure to dedicate.
Celebrating the start of the weekend with some 2004 Gawith Hoggarth Dark Flake unscented in a Missouri Meerschaum 150th anniversary bully cob with a lucite stem. Listening to some jazz, and about to crack a beer in a little while.
G&H Glengarry in an Albertson Precious with a Bakelite stem. Took every bit of the tobacco on the cutting board to fill it.
Checked the mail today, and a gift of a Meerschaum Falcon bowl & this package of tobacco was in a box from that goodfella @weezell. Thanks Dave...really appreciate it my man. ?

Cornell & Diehl Riverboat Gambler in a Peterson Newgrange 107. The pipe has a bit of a ghost from some Conniston Cut Plug I smoked then other day and it is a lovely combination with the Riverboat Gambler.
Whilst sorting through and reorganising my smoking ephemera I came across this 1974 British Pipe Club/Pipe and Tobacco Information Service one-and-a-half page information sheet on how to smoke your meerschaum which I thought might be of interest:-

First time trying Old Gowrie. Enjoying it in my Barbic. This is unspeakably good fresh from the tin. I know some of K&K's tobaccos can lose considerable punch after being open for awhile. It'll be interesting to see how this settles.
Also picked up one of these mysterious <BC> pipes, with marking similar to many of @virkia 's Inderwick pipes. Will be interesting to find out who the maker is.
