Been taking some time off from books. Just finished "Memoirs of a Kamikaze" by Kazuo Odachi. Very dry reading. Got "40 Thieves on Saipan" by Joseph Tachovsky with Cynthia Kraack waiting.
Finished off the newest Dresden Files book, good stuff.
Working on some comics now for some visual entertainment before I dig back into my book pile.

Re-reading Torgny Lindgren, one of my favorite Swedish authors.
Not as clear cut as you'd think. The German army held out considerably well considering their limited resources. I was surprised at the general lack of tactics on the Soviet side. The Germans were trained, experienced, and led by professional soldiers. The Soviets had no veteran leadership and just threw men into a meat grinder.
It was an interesting read, definitely more nuanced than what you'd get from a 20 minute History channel montage.
Currently reading "The Name of the Rose" by Umberto Eco.
Hidden in Plain Sight: A Detective William Warwick Novel, the new Jeffrey Archer release.
Rereading this, I need a nice imaginative sci-fi novel. It is the first of a trilogy.
About to start "A People Numerous and Armed," by John Shy.
I'm slogging through The Gallic Wars, yet again, the latest Clarkson collection of his weekly columns, and a Travis McGee quick read.
