Alan Parsons = Brilliant. Not a lot of music from that era still holds up, but I still love his work. I heard him interviewed sometime last year on a radio show, his career is prolific.

An oldie but a goody...

I was at this concert...

They were the warm-up band for The Ozarak Moutain Daredevils.

Half the audience left after Nicks and Buckingham played.

No sense ruining a great concert experience, by staying for the hacks that followed.

Buckingham Nicks:

The music I listen too is so divergent that it would be hard to list. So recently I am into Eddie Vedder's Into the Wild. That however can change in any given moment if the mood strikes. I could go straight to Natalie Merchant, Townes Vanzant, or Primus, Who knows It could be Phish.

With pipe in mouth and buds in ear, I'm tracking Genesis - Seconds Out(1977)on my iPod. Classic prog rock by one of the best bands ever assembled. Tracks: Squonk; The Carpet Crawlers; Robbery, Assault and Battery; Afterglow; Firth of Fith; I Know What I Like; The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway; The Musical Box (Closing Section); Supper's Ready(over 24 minutes long - F***Yeah!); The Cinema Show(w/Bill Bruford having a drumset duel with Phil Collins!); Dance On a Volcano; Los Endos. This is an absolutely mind-blowing live concert and some great pipe smoking music!

Let me set the stage. I am sitting in my man cave, which thankfully has many large windows, all open on this warm day. I am planted firmly on my sofa watching retro Spiderman (sound off), in my left hand is my Stanwell 56 loaded to the top with SG Squadron Leader, and in my right hand is a cold bottle of Rickards White. My speakers are pumping out squares and sawteeth to soothe the soul.
None better.
Big Chocolate, filthy facking dubstep/ electro.

R.L. Burnside "Come on in" - combination of Mississippi County Blues and Hip Hop. One of the tracks..."And it's bad" was used on the Sopranos.
