Right now I'm listening to an artist from Yellowknife, the town I think of as home. That artist is Pat Braden. I'd include a favourite song but I can't find any online so here's his myspace.

It's not so much WHAT I'm listening to, but HOW. Not on a computer or from an ipod, but on a real STEREO. NAD integrated amp, Pioneer CD player, Advent bookshelf speakers. Hell, I'm thinking of buying a TURNTABLE and going full-on ANALOG!
And to throw it even FURTHER back, I've been listening to entire albums in their proper track order. Depending on the music, it can make a huge difference over shuffling.
