The whole 4AD label is a veritable treasure trove. Some stinkers too, naturally, but it's worth it to get to the gems.
Being the diehard Smiths/Moz fan that I am, ditto to your post before me! That was actually the first Smiths song I ever heard, really brought me back. I wish I had spent more time at the Cat & the Fiddle when I still lived in LA (Moz's hangout). I did see him once at Amoeba Records about 15 years or so ago, buying a Smiths bootleg box set. I assume it was to remove it from circulation, but I didn't ask. I'd have killed to be whoever got to ring him up at the register, just so I could deadpan: "Hmmm...never figured you for a Smiths fan..."
