I had some Mother Earth Gin (NC product) last night, neat.
Wow - not your typical "London dry gin". Really nice black pepper aroma and flavor (floral and fruity - not spicy).

Will definitely be getting more. Who needs tonic with gin like this!

You've heard the story, a barrel that was missed behind a bunch of barrels and once discovered it was horribly over-oaked. Tone it down with a spell in a port Cask and ex-bourbon barrel. Triple Barrel Rum. We shall see.
