Kiss that fiat paper money goodbye, it will be useless. I invested in gold and silver years ago. Cull the masses, Just nature taking care of business. Historics times for sure.
Has anyone noticed that there are no new infections in China. And that although the number of new cases in many other countries is increasing the rate of increase is slowing. Google michael levitt, a stanford nobel laureate and see what he has to say. I work at an investment fund with some highly intelligent people. We are buying distressed assets - bonds and equities - like crazy. Can the market go even lower? Absolutely. Will we have a recession? Absolutely. Will tens of thousands more people die? Yes. But this is not the end of the world. The mortality rate will be far lower than the 1918 flu pandemic. Society will survive and the economy will rebound in the coming year or years. Stop panickng for God’s sake.
The financial coup d'etat is being conducted in a much more creative fashion this time than the ham-fisted one in '08.
I stockpile many different denominations. 45 acp, 357/38, 9mm, 380 acp and 22 LR. Plus half pints, pints, liters and 1.75 liter. A big fan of the barter system here.Or you might just be a fan of basic survival.
If things go sideways it's always the death dealers at the top of the food chain.
Some will be government endorsed, some not.
The economic fallout is already worse than the virus.
It never fails, people get on a very public board and brag about their armory. Why? I ask knowing government bots patrol the "net" looking for any of thousands of key words or numbers. I would think the fewer people who know about your weapons stash the better.
Explain how talking about weapons you own legally is a problem? If you own weapons legally, you had to register the weapon when you purchased it. That means every government agency in the country can easily know you own the weapons.
I do agree, if you own a bunch of illegally acquired weapons, you would be more than a moron to be bragging about it on the internet.
Well, I know for me, before stroking out, my employment required weapons licensing from the DPS. In Boulder, Montana I was elected mayor long ago which also placed me as the de facto police commissioner. It may just be my personal paranoia, but I think I went "on the radar" a while back.
