Why a Goat Diver? Well, apart from having Goat on the dial it has this on the caseback...

This watch is a customised Steeldive homage to a Squale.

And this is my daily when I'm on the factory floor. I was curious how much distance I cover in a day. This g shock tracks steps and syncs with my phone. I don't really sync it but it is cool that it automatically updates the time. So far it has been bulletproof.

Added this Marathon quartz to the collection about 4 months ago. I wanted something with bright markers, so I went for a tritium watch. It's only a half second off since I set it and it's not thermo-compensated. The only downside is a flat sapphire crystal that has no antireflective coating. ISO 6425 certified too.

I don't use my phone for just checking time, because I find that when I turn it on, I compulsively check all of the apps that I monitor. So, it is a time suck for me. Having a watch on keeps me abreast of time, without having to pick up that little addiction device in my back pocket.
That’s a very good point, but I’ve just used my iPhone for checking the time for at least a decade.

As someone who can take apart a watch and put everything back together, can you please explain what you are talking about?
There are technologies that can detect an electronic device that are utilized for military targeting. They work to within 3 feet, and they work up to 30 foot underground. Apparently the signature of a watch battery are pretty distinctive. Mechanicals don’t do that obviously.

If memory serves, all watches that used tritium (I think it's banned now) had a letter 'T' before Swiss and after Made...if that makes sense. It would sort of read 'T Swiss Made T'.

I would wager your watch uses lumibrite though it could be an exception.

Regards,

Jay.
