I called them on morning, the moment they started serving customers.

The wait time was reasonable for that, I guess.

Also do not forget to press button 1 once you get your call in, to be directed to the right department.
Worth mentioning that I called the number that came with the confirmation e-email.

They seem to be sending out parcels with some weird chronology, but from what I deducted, if you call them up your order will be given a priority.

I've had their back until now. I received my IPSD order yesterday and I literally laughed out loud when I opened the box I tried to contact them about the complete cluster I received. Nothing. SP kills them in all aspects of business . I don't need the aggravation.

They aren't the only one that had a problem due to software upgrade, JR cigar did also. Same reply's as PC. Maybe the same software?

Got my JR cigar order 2 days ago. Still waiting for PC but believe they have a problem they wish they never had. Always great service before. Like all sponsors on this site.

I too had placed an order a few weeks ago and was getting the occasional email thanking me for my patience. I finally got info that 1/2 of my order was on back order. I called last week and laid the phone on my desk as I worked. 33 minutes later a lady finally answered, I was informed that part of my order would be arriving this past Saturday. I cancelled the backorder and placed it with another etailer.
Yesterday both orders arrived. Oh happy days! :)

An order I'd placed almost 4 weeks earlier arrived on Friday, but incomplete. After waiting a total of 1,5 hour on hold, I talked to a very tired-sounding attendant, who assured me my order would be sent "soon". We'll see. But I'm reluctant to buy from them again, good as their discounts may be.

Dunno. If I were down to my last 25 g of tobacco, maybe I wouldn't consider P&C. But in any other situation, the prices they charge are so reasonable it makes no sense not to check with them. Partial orders are their way, it's how they've always done business. In the wake of a software debacle, it stands to reason there'd be more partials than usual. I have to jump through a ton of hoops to get stuff from them, since they Don't ship here. Even the nightmare of coordination returns to UPS and Portland traffic, it's still worth it on big orders to go P&C.

wyfbane: true, they've always done partial orders without asking first - which I've always found slightly annoying, and the first time I ordered with them it cost me not getting the tobacco I wanted (because I was on the US for a limited time). But I know, and accept it. The problem this time is that my order still shows as "processing", and the missing items showed as "in stock". So I didn't know if they'd ever come, or were actually out of stock, or if it was simply missing and I should complain, or...
I understand their issues. It sucks when you rely on software and it comes crashing down. But then again it's not as if their service has always been stellar.

Echie, that wasn't directed at you alone. And you lost out in that one order, so you actually have earned the right to complain in my book. I was just saying in general. And I am sure they will take care if you on the back end of this, once things have quieted down. .

It's unfortunate that the upgrade process hasn't really gotten smoother, 20+ years into the digital age.
Expect it to only get worse as technology expands from a few ways of doing things to nearly infinite ways, meaning that conflicts compound.

Has anyone placed an order since the IPSD fiasco, are they still having problems?
I placed an order about a week after IPSD, Feb 27th. I didn't know they were having problems until a few days afterwards, when I got one of the emails saying they were having shipping problems. It shipped the other day, and should be in my grubby hands by Saturday.
Whether or not they're still having problems, I don't really know. I'm half tempted to make a piddly little order for pipe cleaners, just to see if everything is back to normal, or not.
