oh wow I had no idea you car restoration existed as a hobby. You learn something everyday.

I just watch the entire video of the restoration of the yellow wagon, and WOW. Its kind of like professional pipe restorations but for a toy car.

Here's an interesting one. The box raises and lowers as you turn a crank on the side of the truck.

Ferrari Berlinetta, white walls added by previous owner. I've seen a restoration video of these wheels and its incredible.

What makes the crane interesting, other than being in near-mint shape, is the little hydraulic shock that holds up the arm.

The Dodge Charger was one of my favs. It seemed to kick ass more on the racetracks and stuff.



I remember thinking as a kid, why are so many of the cars on fire?


But, at least I had a fire truck to put them out.

The fire truck was always a difficult one, because I had to remove a section to give the thing two spaces in my storage box.
Remember the tire cases? This is a new one, but I remember these only held a few...

But, at least I had a few of these...

I never had a carrying case, just a bucket. Some of mine still have bits of sand and dirt in them from me playing with them outside as a kid.

Yeh, I was less into the racetracks and stuff which were more popular out after I was older. I was more into firing them out of a slingshot and using plywood as ramps to see how far I could get them to jump. That is... when I wasn't putting the ones on fire out, or playing Smokey and the Bandit, Convoy, or... the best TV show ever...
