I have not yet received my SS package yet but I have been in contacted with him as he has confirmed he sent it. Mine is still lost in limbo, picked up at my parcel locker, but after that nothing. Hope the courier enjoys his tobacco.

The two tins as a guideline is a good thing—this way, anybody can participate knowing nothing more is expected. If members choose to go beyond that, that's on them and their choice.

I have to admit that as a newbie here, the whole SS thing was a little intimidating at first. The two-tin "suggestion" and "enjoy what ya get" guidelines really helped it to be approachable.

@DanWil84 I’m in a similar boat. I’ve been in contact with my SS and was given the tracking info. The package was first shipped November 29th. Unfortunately, there has not been any movement for a number of days. I’m hopeful it will show up but I’m not banking on it.

Most of those rules, and certainly the entire tenor of them, came to me from Pruss. Our founders set a very good framework.

Just wanted to re-interate that if you have sent your SS gift, please let us know, *AND* if you have recieved your gift let us know as well. There seems to be a lot of gift anxiety this year, and if you post that you've recieved, that would greatly treduce the number of panicked emails I'm getting LOL

If I had said "I'm in" a hundred pages back, I would be loath to open this again to remind myself of the guidelines.

Don’t be in such a rush. Given USPO’s record, give them till April before worrying.
