I was just looking for something in the living room to post in another thread and heard the beeping of the postal worker’s reader coming from the front porch. Secret Santa has arrived and Holy Toledo! The box weighs 3 pounds, 4.30 ounces!

I’m probably going to wait until Christmas to open it. Thank you in advance. Looking forward to it.

Just wanted to re-interate that if you have sent your SS gift, please let us know, *AND* if you have recieved your gift let us know as well. There seems to be a lot of gift anxiety this year, and if you post that you've recieved, that would greatly treduce the number of panicked emails I'm getting LOL

I worked retail as a teenager in a major department store that had a Christmas tape on a loop. 4 weeks straight. To this day (over 40 years later - them be deep scars) I cannot abide Christmas songs or those confounded sleigh bells. As for twelve days of Christmas- it’s basically a suicide song.

The two tins as a guideline is a good thing—this way, anybody can participate knowing nothing more is expected. If members choose to go beyond that, that's on them and their choice.

I worked retail for 40 years. I had more than enough cheesy "holiday songs." We went shopping the other day and when they played a song by you-know-who I felt like I was being slapped.
But Christmas hymns in church are very good. No problem there.

Did you know that you can ship 24 hours a day at Automated Postal Center’s? Willing to bet that I may be one of the last people to have shipped it and still be on time.

And I said; It’s ok, don’t worry.

And she’s like; NO, I’m going to wrap it...

Ahhh can’t argue with the wife, she wants to make it feel more Christmas... LOL
