I am back guys. Sorry for responding this late, had been very busy at work, also had to take care of some personal issues. Let me just check the thread quickly.
Edit: Well, here is my story. Because it is not allowed to ship tobacco from Azerbaijan, there is a very kind soul who resides in the States and helps me every year with the SS event. This year I also arranged some tobacco to be sent to my victim, then got lost in work. As if work wasn't killing me enough, I had to take care of some family issues as well.
Long story short, after checking my personal email today, I realized that the tobacco had not been sent to my victim. However, another kind soul (SS event organizer, you know who) took care of it and sent some tobacco to my victim. I guess he knew that I was going to screw it up. Anyway, my victim will still receive some tobacco and souvenirs from me. Until then nobody will know who he is.
I haven't received anything yet, but we all know the reason now. I had been a very bad boy last year

As you can see, we are just suffering here, waiting for everyone to receive their gifts so that we can shut down this interminable, loathsome thread and get on with our lives. Don't get me wrong, folks have been very patient and understanding, even managing a moderately humorous spirit every now and again, just to keep the spirits up.
But, soon it will be Spring, then Summer and then Autumn and maybe it's justeasier, better, inevitable that we keep this Secret Santa thing going year 'round, rather than making it seasonal, like snow tires, mosquitos and the flu.

X-mas tree (rosemary bush from Trader Joe's) gets taken out and transplanted tomorrow. I tried to hold off as long as the thread went, but alas, I have failed. Maybe next this year.

Unfortunately, the last two gifts had to get alternate delivery. Green one says Dear Dan…The red/orange package says Dear Javan. What are the odds?

So, funny this conversation comes up, because my wife walked in from work tonight, and brought me home a new pair of sandals, they actually call them slippas out here.
And I do wear socks and slippas all the time. ??
These are all I live in, but damm after years of rubber rubbing on the bottom of your feet it gets rough, my big toes always crack and peel, so I wear ankle cut socks a lot, to make it more, comfy.
As long as you wear some ankle cuts socks then you look cool... LOL
