After getting bit between the toes by a Brown Recluse while on a hiking trip (we had made camp, and I was out gathering firewood in the underbrush, with sandals on), my summer casual footwear changed to Keens. Winter slip-ons are Muck Boots. Everyday wear are Propet shoe-boots, to keep my 5E footsies loose and comfy.
