As my Uncle Gene used to say when he was verklemt, "Jesus Christ and General Jackson"!
After finally making it back home the other day I opened the SS box that had arrived in my absence. Yes, I know I should have waited until Christmas, but why should I be any more restrained than everyone else on this thread? Besides patience has never been my long suit. If you don't believe me ask my wife; my kids; my neighbors; my friends; their neighbors; my colleagues; their neighbors; posters on this forum; and random people on the street.
This is what I found inside the box:
I know the angle is oblique, so here's the roll call of amazing loot:
-a cigar container, just the right size for an afternoon and evening away from home, complete with two cigars to start me off:
-a Rocky Patel Connecticut cigar
-a Perdomo Reserve Champagne Sun Grown
-a tin of C&D's famous Carolina Red Flake
-a very generous helping of McClelland's CC 2014
-another very generous helping of SG's FVF
-yet another very generous helping of McClelland's Blackwoods Flake
-a tin of McClelland's classic 2010 Anniversary blend
-two packets of BJ Long Pipe Cleaners (it's important to never run out; and after all, what boy doesn't like a BJ Long?)
-and to top it all off a very nice note from my Secret Santa, CigarSmker
This is hitting the jackpot with a vengeance. CigarSmker thank you very much for the incredible Secret Santa presents. I'm a huge McClelland fan so every one of these is very welcome indeed, as is the Carolina Red Flake (which I've wanted to try for several years), the FVF (always a top favorite of mine), and the two cigars. I enjoy the occasional cigar and the two you selected have the added bonus of being completely new to me.
Very best,
Jon
