I tried, for a couple of years, to no avail, to rein it in. Damn generous people, can’t stop ‘em.

Now, my feeling is that you should expect the equivalent of two tins. If you get more, that was nice of your Santa.

I do fear my math was bad too - you didn't say tins of "what", and accompanying soldiers to keep the two lonely tins company...... well......

Careful opening it up. I got a mystery mylar bag from my Secret Santa last year; it turned out to be stuffed with cremains. On the plus side it did smell a little like latakia, on the down side it took my Roomba weeks to get the floor clean again.
