Turns out that I'm getting the sandblast (thanks to my mother-in-law for the birthday present), and the rusticated versions, too. I'll have the complete set!
Thanks, Dino. Wilke No. 515 in a 4AB is the best combination possible. I picked the Heritage Brown for the 515 since Rathbone smoked a brown 4AB. Rathbone's tobacco in a Rathbone pipe.
Ordered a preemptive strike of 515, just to be ready....
Great job getting Peterson to remake it and on getting the full set!
Is the stem is acrylic or vulcanite?
Acrylic. It's not a hard acrylic and I find them very easy to clench. Btw, I have now smoked each pipe three times. I'm pulling very little dampness out of the system well. They are providing me with cool, clean, dry smokes.
Thanks, Jim. I actually prefer acrylic over vulcanite.

My mistake, he says the special edition of the book will be out Thursday.
No way I'm buying the book before a pipe, lol. Doubt I'd even want to thumb through it and read about a pipe I didn't get if it turns out that way. After? I'll take the risk the book may be around.
