I would have called it no goal. It was pretty clear he intentionally made contact with his foot to push the puck into the net.

What a game. I’ll admit, I wanted that series to go 7, just for more good hockey! Hopefully the oilers can hack it against the Western Conference Champio……..I mean, Colorado Avalanche ?

I, also, appreciate the gesture. Hopefully the wifi in the smoking tent at the Chicago show is good enough for me to stream the game(s) so I can have traveled all that way to ignore you all.

...and the WCF is now set, Avs and Oilers. Should be a long, punishing series, and I don't anticipate the guys whose job it is to turn on the red light when a goal is scored to have much downtime.

Will the Canes exorcise their road demons? Methinks not. Lightning will have to wait a little longer to see who their Prince of Wales Eastern Conference opponent is, I believe.

I was convinced that the Avs were going to lay an egg again until the last 5 seconds. They need to be concerned about their penalty killing, face-offs and goaltending in the next round. The Manson shot block was incredible!
