Will the Canes exorcise their road demons? Methinks not. Lightning will have to wait a little longer to see who their Prince of Wales Eastern Conference opponent is, I believe.
And sure enough, Canes lose on the road...again. That does not bode well unless you're the President's Trophy winner.

A nice 77th b-day gift for my father-in-law, a native New Yorker.

Avs versus Rangers. Go Avs.
Rangers have a tall order to get there. There are 389 games worth of Conference Final playoff experience on that Tampa Squad.

Personally I’d love to see NYR and EDM in the final, but I’d settle for NYR and Colorado. Just not Tampa again. Nothing against the lightning, I just like variety.

Should be interesting. Two top goalies. The Rangers are pretty beat up, the Lightening have been on the beach for a week it seems. The Rangers won all three games in the regular season, which I guess means almost nothing now.

Watching Game 1: Avalanche v. Oilers First hockey game I've watched in at least a decade. I forgot how much I enjoyed it.

Maybe I'll pay more attention next season.
