That Old School Aroma

I’m only 52 years young and my father smoked sir Walter Raleigh when I was very young before he switched to Kodiak chew. I’m pretty sure Walter Raleigh isn’t it as I have no recollection of it smelling like anything good. I also asked my mother just only a few months ago about it. She was a cigerette smoker back in those days too and she said she hated him smoking that because it smelled like crap.

In my family I only had one uncle who smoked a pipe. I can't remember the aroma because I've been anosmic since birth, but I remember the tartan texture of the envelope: Clan!
He smoked a pipe constantly, there is no photo of him without a pipe in his mouth; he was basically a cigarette smoker disguised as a pipe smoker.
He died in the early 70s, I was little, I don't think he influenced my future choice to smoke a pipe.
