I went to the Cargo Hold in Poulsbo, WA last weekend and picked up these legends. I've never tried any of them and can't wait to. Poulsbo is over an hour drive from my house so I've only been able to visit the Cargo Hold twice in the two years since I've been smoking a pipe. I still haven't finished any of the stuff I bought from the first trip, I'm not an a hurry to but I'll definitely wait until I've smoked all the VaPer jars in my current rotation before trying the Dorchester. I know Esoterica encourages people to smoke their tobacco fresh but I feel I need more experience with VaPers before I can fully appreciate something like Dorchester. I'm not interested in aging it because I don't have a second tin for comparison.

If you are going to jar that HH up, dry it out a bit first. Lost 2lbs of mine to mold.
Well, that's a bummer. I did jar it up, but didn't let it dry any. Might have to let it air a bit.
Lots of nice hauls posted today, heres a little something of my own. Got some Foundation Cigars I wanted to try with wrapper leaf grown an hour north of me. A 4oz bag of Aged Maduro Cavendish I've been meaning to try, for smoking straight and some blends.

Oh that’s right - unfortunately I’m subject to the 85% excise tax since they’re in Florida. I think I have enough other blends to enjoy, I’ll catch the next one

I would be very happy with that selection - it seems that the UK only g ets 40g pouches of Three Nuns ready rubbed and 25g pouches of Capstan likewise in ribbon cut. And we're supposed to be a civilised nation.

I've just opened this up and found that the flakes are the length of the box! They fit into a 1 liter Kilner jar with 1/2" to spare. I am in awe.
