Stay safe!!It's heading to me in Tenn. right now. Hear the thunder and the sky just turned black. Next couple of hours should be interesting.
And a wind cap on your pipe!Get that helmet on!
STORM HELMET W/GOGGLESI was wondering how you were holding up. Get that helmet on!
I’m alright. My neighbors, not so much. No one was killed, but lots were trapped in their houses. Our friends that lost houses will stay with us till they can figure out a plan. We are currently buckled down for another line.Michael, please post your status here as soon as you can, I hope everything is good for you and your family.
I’m in Shelby, Old Town Helena that’s been in the national news for a few hours now.Just went through news reports in the area, three to five dead after a tornado in Shelby/Calhoun counties. Storms still tracking through the area through the night. Wishing everyone the best.
I grew up on an island. Those straight line winds and storm surge were what we feared, along with the tornadoes.Once it hits land the whole thing is called a tropical storm, but it’s the tornados from this that get you on land.
I’ll take straight line winds any day over a high pressure tornado.
Thank you!@cosmicfolklore How are things? Thinking about you all.
