Cor blimey gov!
That snappiness when opening and closing is what is lovingly referred to as "walk and talk".
Had yourself quite a conversation..

It happens to all of us, regardless of years of experience.
Just a few weeks ago I was doing some cleaning and lubing and before I knew it, I was bleeding from TWO fingers!

Shirogorov is a Russian brand, producing high end folders. Years ago, I had seen many pics and heard nothing but good things about their knives.
Eventually I picked one up on the secondary market- my fate was sealed.
I became a Shiro fanatic from that day forward.

So, this past summer when I started dipping my toe back in to the knife world, I knew it was just a matter of time.
Just picked up my second new Shiro (this time around), the Gen 5 F95. Needless to say, as always.. impressed.

So many beauties in this thread. I haven't bought a pocket knife in many years, as my interests have veered towards other things and my collection is ample enough to have kept me entertained in my daily selections. Another one I like very much is this one by Jerry Halfrich, small and easily carried in any slacks pocket. No pocket clips for me.

Landed another Shirogorov last week!
This one is a F95 (F for "flipper", 95 for the length of the blade). It's been fully customized by Danny Yard (RIP Knives), who does tremendous and constantly in-demand work. The scales, backspacer, pocket clip, and hardware have all been sculpted, scalloped, and anodized.

Danny made 10 of these and they were lotteried on a certain website.
I was blown away that I was drawn and given the opportunity to buy one. Seriously, I was floating on cloud 9 all day that day.

The Shirogorov/Danny Yard "Green Machine".

Haven’t posted here in a minute. I picked up this little Vietnam War issue Camillus at the thrift store for a buck fitty awhile back and thought I’d show it off a bit. Been working on it and trying to get it back into shape. It was pretty rough when I picked it up. Also pictured is my Stedemon Deep Sea Giant. Always one up top and down below. And some Pegasus in a cob. BC5FF1E2-013B-476B-AC97-4691E7EF7643.jpeg
