Picked up this RP Knives (Alex Eisenberg) NY Special via a trade. Bit larger than I typically carry, so I'm going to move it along well below list price. If anyone is interested shoot me a PM.
It's unused and comes with a hand tooled sheath.
Forgedfrom 52100 w/ dyed maple scales.. both sides are sharpened!

This is my latest. Hollow ground Wharncliffe blade on a slip joint Jack Wolf. DLC stonewashed Crucible S90V with camo carbon Toxic green scales.

This is my first Jack Wolf and the fit and finish of this is really amazing. This is not a budget knife, a lot like pipes, every grade and quality. I started looking into the brand and having the knife in hand? I get it.

I know I posted a reply to this but I suppose it was lost in the latest site-shuffling.

The updating of classic designs/slipjoints with contemporary materials has definitely been a popular trend in the last several years. More often than not, the results are stunning. I'm partial to greens, so I like this one a lot.

I posted this one last week, but the post has been deleted, so here it goes again. Slipjoint from knife maker John Lloyd with micarta made from a mesh of copper wire and what looks like burlap.

This week I've been carrying a different knife, but will post it here later.

When it comes to secondary markets, I don't know which is worse right now- pipes or knives. No one is buying unless it's half off retail AT LEAST. Granted there are exceptions but..

I had a custom folder up for trade and after a few days of "less than ideal" trade offers, a guy offered me a knife that piqued my interest.
I'm not usually in to "full dress" knives..
But this one sorta ticked enough boxes for me. Damasteel blade/Show scale/clip/backspacer/pivot over travel collar/lockbar (and orange peeled Ti lock side scale).. phew!
That's a lot of Damasteel!

I carried today my custom shop Buck 110 knife, it's difficult to make it out in the photo, but the handle is blue. My wife got one too in the 112 model. We got these custom-made for ourselves as wedding gifts (it doubled as her something new and something blue).
As far as the pipe, I'm taking my Micah Cryder (Yeti pipe) "Serpentine blasted dublin-warden with strawberry briar" for its maiden voyage. Again, it isn't easy to make it out in the photo but the pipe is a gorgeous green.

Here is a link to Micah's website, he has much better photos of it than I do.
Currently, it is loaded with some Full Virginia Flake. 20241012_000257.jpg_MG_4515.jpg
